About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior QA professional to join the QA team. This is a full-time 6-month role with the possibility of further contract extension. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a key role in quality assurance and validation processes, working closely with product and development teams to ensure a high-quality product is delivered to customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and integrate QA methodologies throughout the development lifecycle. In this role, you'll take full ownership of feature testing, from creating test plans to executing them through to release.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test strategies to ensure product reliability and performance.
- Design, develop, and maintain test cases for both existing and new features, using a combination of manual and automated testing methods.
- Perform thorough API testing—both manual and automated—to validate functionality and performance.
- Drive continuous improvement in the QA process by adopting best practices and integrating new technologies where applicable.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Architects, and Development teams to ensure seamless communication and integration of testing processes.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong familiarity with API testing, including hands-on experience with REST APIs and OpenAPI specifications.
- Solid understanding of testing client-server systems.
- Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Proven ability to write Python scripts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Proficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Advantage:
- Experience using Jira and X-ray for test management and reporting.
- Familiarity with Playwright and Pytest is a plus.
- Knowledge of the cybersecurity industry and its specific challenges.
